I've flown many times to both international airports and many small regional airports. I have been through BJI twice. Both times I witnessed extremely intense 'enhanced screenings' where people had all their belongings pulled out of their bags and withstanding a very personal frisk that even the cops don't know. In all cases they were done in public view, with these poor souls put on display while they are embarrassed through 15 minutes of more of a physical search of their person and their bag. In all cases the persons under scrutiny were minimum 60 years old and probably closer to 70. In all cases of course nothing was found and they were 'set free'. TSA at this place relishes this stuff, obviously. I've never been bothered thank god but I can only imagine how horrible that would be. At minimum it should be done in private, but someone needs to question why this is necessary at all.

This is a small town airport. There is one gate. There is one airline. There are about 5 TSA agents. And I LOVE flying here. It's a small town. I know the employees personally, I've seen them in other places in the town, and we chat while in line. The airport is cozy at 5 am while waiting for a flight.
