Wow. Amazing camping. Beautiful lake. Fantastic park
One of the best State Parks I have been to. The campsites are fantastic and there is a great marina if you are a fisherman. This attached to one of the best fishing lakes in the state is extraordinary for camping fishermen.
Beautiful lake, good trails, interesting bog walk. Just lovely. a bit spare between campsites so not a lot of privacy coverage, but it's not that big of a deal. Lovely park near the city, and out in the woods!
Bemidji state park is a beautiful state park, but definitely one of the busier parks we've visited. My husband and I are in the Minnesota State Parks Hiking Club and working on hiking every state park in Minnesota. We were only here for a quick hike on a busy weekend. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful hike, it'll be a little more difficult to find that here on a weekend. There's still a lot to see and do in this park and I'd love to come back and spend a little more time here.
Clean. Great for camping, tents and cabins. Lots of well maintained trails with benches and a bike path around beautiful Lake Bemidji.
