Management and maintenance are rude and over compulsive about the rules. Not to mention they are breaking the law and entering the units without written notice, like Minnesota law requires which they do not follow, my roommate got walked in on when he was sleeping and same with my neighbor. I have got yelled at multiple times by the landscape crew when I was trying to be polite to them. Can't open the windows, cheaply built, paint comes off very easily, no sound dampening in the walls so you can hear anything that happens in the next room. I have had a couple expensive bikes and I was told at the start of the yr that i could store them inside, mid way through the yr they changed it now I am being told to put my $2,000 bike outside which I was not happy with being that I haven't had it a week and service on it isn't cheap either, and also the other day the owner was stalking me through the parking lot in his pickup. There also is not enough parking for everyone in the building here. If anyone is thinking it is a good idea to live here DON'T LIVE HERE BOTTOM LINE, IT'S CHEAP AND NOT WORTH IT.
I would NOT recommend living here, not very good apartments they look nice but it is very misleading we have had multiple problems, that do not get fixed in a timely fashion. Not to mention the Walls are so incredibly thin you can hear eveything. I can literally hear my neighbor in the next apartment snoring at night. Suppose to be campus housing but they don't apply to the rules of being able to get out mid semester if you are unhappy even tho we never signed the actual lease that says that bemidji state housing is not letting anyone out of the lease and it is bull crap. Its campus housing and the only thing we actually signed is the housing agreement that does allow us to get out mid-semester!!! Don't live here, there are better apartments out there for less money!! Your better off living off campus!!
