I HAVE BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THE ONE DESCRIBED BELOW WITH MY INSURANCE. TRY CALLING YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY NEXT TIME. I'M SURE THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF IT. THE DENTISTS AND HYGIENISTS ARE VERY NICE AND DO GREAT WORK. I HAVE BEEN TO A LOT OF DENTISTS OVER THE YEARS AND IT IS EASY TO SPOT THE BAD ONES, AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN THE DOOR. WITH GRD, I GET REMINDER CARDS AND PHONE CALLS. THERE ARE NONE BETTER.

When I started receiving my dental benefits from work I contacted Great River Dentistry to see if they would accept my insurance. They stated that they did and I immediately made appointments for a deep cleaning for myself as well as check ups and cleanings for my wife and children. After 5 appointments passed and we had a $2,000 bill they informed me that they were unable to accept my insurance and they were "very sorry" but they didn't realize that they were not authorized to accept ALL of United Concordia's dental plans leaving me stuck with the bill. They refused to work with me to lower the amount based on the fact that they did not submit the claim for pre-approval as I had asked them to.
I will NEVER recommend this office to any one!

Doug is the best dentist in the world! He is funny, which puts me at ease and did a great job with my filling. It didn't even hurt a little. Now I can't even tell I ever had a cavity there! The location is convenient, the staff are all knowledgeable, and they always have a team for the Dragon Boat Festival. I asked them about a thousand questions, from why my tooth got chipped to how much their digital x-ray machine cost and they were eager to tell me. I love them.
The doctor sent me to the oral surgeon to have a tooth removed, the surgeon had to call Dr Williams because the tooth he was instructed to remove had been removed when I was a teenager!
I have seen my share of Dentists in my military time and I wish I had Dr. Williams a long time ago. He is the best Novocain shot givers I have ever had! He is always informative and sets you at ease with his "chair side" manner. I would not want another dentist at this point in my life. I am fortunate to have great dental care in such a small town in northern Minnesota. I do not have dental insurance and have always found the fees to be fare. The staff has always treated me with kindness and professionalism. They always call to remind me of my appointments. If you are looking for a good Dentist in this area you could not find a better one. My wife and I are very pleased with the service we get.
